THE PRACTICAL GUIDE

A Toronto condo Wi-Fi playback checklist

Check signal, household traffic and evening streaming on the device you use, without assuming your building or provider guarantees performance.

01

Test where the television sits

A fast connection near the router can still be weak behind a TV or across a concrete wall. Run the trial on the actual viewing device in its normal position.

02

Compare a wired connection

If your device supports Ethernet, use it briefly to separate Wi-Fi interference from other causes. On Wi-Fi, compare an available 5 GHz network and avoid hiding the streaming stick behind dense equipment.

03

Use your normal evening conditions

Run a trial while other household devices are active. Note whether the problem affects all channels or only a single feed. Do not assume a provider or a condo building is the cause without comparing.

04

Keep a short troubleshooting record

Write down the device, time, connection type and result of each change. Send that to support so the team can help without repeating every step.
