Find the model and software version in the television settings. App stores and support differ across Samsung, LG and Android-based televisions, including different generations from the same brand.
Choose the supported route
Ask support which player is suitable for your model. Install it through its official source, then enter the private access method supplied for your trial. A player licence may be separate from the subscription.
Test the living-room experience
Open live TV, a movie and the guide. Check the remote buttons, audio, subtitles and programme time. Confirm that returning from standby does not leave an old playback session running.
If the app cannot be installed
Do not buy another television immediately. A compatible streaming device may be an option. Confirm the proposed device with support before spending money.
